- Why did we make this pop up card? Was it bad to spread the idealism of pirates?
Well, it is not because we consider good or bad as a concept, and it would change over the time, meaning there would be no good nor bad when we search through the history of humans.
Pirates are those who are usually exposed to living in horrible conditions, dirty and on decaying ships. They sailed around the seven seas to attack and rob ships, stealing cargos and valuable goods. They made criminal violence and might kill people. But the people like that.
Like bad boys, girls may find them interesting, exciting. The romance of the sea, the sword, and gunfights, their lives should be very advantageous and appealing to most people.
So not any robber is idolized like a pirate. We made this pop up card of a pirate ship to express this concept.
From the begining of the concept, we, the Flaminpop, a pop up card supplier in Vietnam, had had to watch a lot a famous film named the Pirates of the Caribbean to make this pop up. It was a great time together with some research about ships at the same time.
